Argoed remembered Armistice Day with a wonderful display by Mynydd Isa Scouts Group, still can be seen in Caffi Isa, and a lovely service in St Cecilia’s on a bright Sunday morning
St Cecilia’s is hosting another musical evening, with Bransby and Caffi Isa Community Choir as entertainment. Tickets are £8, to include a ploughman’s dinner and there will be a licensed bar.

Flintshire County Councils existing Waste Management Strategy was implemented in 2009 and covers a period of time up until 2025. Our 37th annual flower show was held in July, once again in the Community Centre Hall.
Admission was free to all and a steady flow of visitors came along to admire the blooms.
Most of the major honours went to local residents.
