You may have noticed some new signage being installed in Mynydd Isa and New Brighton. This is because we have been included with Buckley as being one of the pilot areas for the new restriction, which will eventually be implemented throughout Wales. The funding for this has come from Welsh Government and it is hoped that the average speed of vehicles will be reduced within our communities. Below is a link to a presentation that has been given to local authorities, to explain why 20 mph is being introduced, together with a link for a FAQ document. Both these documents will be printed and displayed on the notice board next to the Clerk’s office in Mynydd Isa Community Centre.
