Following the various comments at recent meetings regarding speeding vehicles, may I assure fellow Councillors that the Speed Watch team in Buckley/Mold/Mynydd Isa area is very active. In fact we have been assured and complemented by North Wales Police (‘NWP’) that we are the most active group in North Wales.

Argoed remembered Armistice Day with a wonderful display by Mynydd Isa Scouts Group, still can be seen in Caffi Isa, and a lovely service in St Cecilia’s on a bright Sunday morning

The Argoed community is fortunate enough to offer a number of green spaces and parks for recreation.  Here is a collection of photos taken over the summer featuring some of these areas.
